Rocks are the keepers of time, called "Stone People

They each have a story to tell.

These are some who have shared with me.

Feel free to contact nonasrocks@ymail.com with any comments, suggestions or insights. I love the "finding" but knowing what I have just adds to the stories.

I found theses rocks while digging a new garden spot this Spring.

Faces in Stone Scrapers

Faces in pecking stones

Sandstone bovine shape

Broken chert knife

Heart shapes (faces?)

 Bird stone

clay animal shape

Scraper cutter

This is an impressive well shaped stone face and 2 well polished crude faces.

These are fine grained clay stones I believe were used in polishing the stones pictured above, as I found them in the same site.

Polished chert pieces

This is a pumice stone also found in the same site. It is more course than the clay stones. Probably used for rougher shaping and smoothing.

All are "as found" by me (and Frankie).

He is the best rock hounding, fly fishing cat ever!
